Just because of the song “Ajeeb Dastaan Hai Yeh”, Naushad couldn’t win the Best Musician award at the 1961’s Filmfare. Meena Kumari and Raaj Kumar appeared in the leading characters. Meena Kumari played a role of Nurse. She received the Filmfare Best Actress nomination for her memorable performance.

Waheeda Rehman and Nanda appeared in the lead roles. Superstar’s like Dilip Kumar, Guru Dutt, Nargis, Raaj Kumar, Rajendra Kumar was seen in the guest roles.
